Naperville Imaging Center provides state-of-the-art, high-quality diagnostic imaging services and patient-centered care. It is our goal to act as an imaging resource that serves as an extension of area medical practices.

Each of our imaging centers utilizes the newest, most advanced technology in diagnostic imaging. The images are 100% digitally captured; this allows referring physicians and interpreting radiologists the ability to view images online, from any computer. Voice recognition software allows reports to be generated instantaneously. Radiologists’ interpretations are automatically transmitted to patients’ referring physicians. Our radiologists are board certified and fellowship trained from top universities in the US. Their expertise guarantees that our reports are comprehensive and accurate. Referring Physician Resources

We are pleased to announce the addition of Digital Mammography and DEXA, commencing in May, 2012.

DIGITAL SCREENING MAMMOGRAMS
Screening Mammograms can detect changes in the breast up to two years before a patient or physician can feel them on examination. Current guidelines from the American Cancer Society (ACS) recommend screening mammograms every year for women beginning at age 40. Research has shown that annual mammograms lead to early detection of breast cancers when they are more easily curable and breast-conservation therapies are available.

DIGITAL DIAGNOSTIC MAMMOGRAMS
For women with breast problems including focal pain, lump or nipple discharge, NIC offers diagnostic mammograms. The diagnostic mammogram is often followed by breast ultrasound performed the same day.

Dexa (Bone Density) Studies
A Bone Density Scan, also called a Dexa scan, can help your doctor determine if you have osteoporosis or are at risk for developing this degenerative disease. It helps doctors determine your risk before your bones become so brittle that they break easily.
